The 2012 Presidential Election is heated to say the least. This election will set the tone for how major decisions are made by our government and those decisions will ultimately have an effect on our lives. There is so much at stake for both parties, but what about you? Because no matter which candidate you have voted for, decide to vote for or even if you don’t vote at all; come November 7th 2013, no matter who will have won, you will still have to deal with you – your life and all of your business! Don’t fret! You do have you and you are enough! So what about your life? What about who you are? What about your purpose? What you’re doing with your life? No matter what, you can’t blame the government for everything or completely rely on its help for anything. Their elections will come and go, so what about you? Do you have your vote? How will you vote for yourself?
Regardless of your political affiliation(s), would you vote for you to be the ultimate (mortal) commander and chief of your life? Would you? Our government is very influential, but what about those things the government doesn’t have a say in or direct influence over? Things like how you treat yourself and your relationships, who you really are, your spiritual well-being and how you are handling your God-given privileges and responsibilities. All of that computes the stewardship quality of living a purpose-filled life. You are ultimately in charge of your life and you are the president of your “united state”. Are you for yourself? Are you managing your campaign well? Are you running negative campaign ads? What is your life’s slogan? What about your foreign and domestic or rather external and internal affairs? Who is in your cabinet, your advisors? What are the campaign promises you made to yourself – your dreams, plans and goals? Are you fulfilling them?
The amazing thing about your life’s campaign is the only viable opponent you must contend with is negative voice within yourself. There is only one you but self-talk can be so intense, negative or positive that it can feel like the weight of nations or the strength of the voice of many. Most negativity that speaks in the mind is being fed by incessant, untruthful and unchallenged, mental conversations. Some folk are so mentally negative they have run a life-long campaign for negative voice and they have won indeed! They’ve gotten so good at it that they’ve gotten worry and fear all depressed and scared. Your positive voice speaks truth and is the most sacred essence of who you are and it is empowering, certain, creative, decisive, fearless and confident. You have to make a decision about which voice you want to speak for your life, live by and consistently vote for. If you want to be spiritually, mentally or physically lazy; then you have cast your vote. You win by succumbing to mental robotics and thought abuse, blaming all else and you will put forth great effort just to live uncomfortably in society’s ill-fitting boxes. You’ll know that you’re winning that election because you will exist in a pattern of being an unconscious but willing victim and a product of your environment instead of your environment being a product of you!
But if you chose to do the work that it takes to discover who are, begin to consciously live purpose-filled, staff your life with accountability partners and strategic alliances; you will form your most incredible super PAC that will thrust your life into being progressive and productive. Hiring a certified life coach is a great way to start and continually develop those positive wins. You’ll know you’re winning and when you’ve cast your vote for your greatest self. You will achieve unshakable peace, your overall life betterment will be consistent and your feats perpetual and contagious. You’ll dream dreams and live them, make plans and see them and you’ll set goals and meet them.
Vote for YOU! Don’t allow a continual mental debate to render you useless and defeated. You must be aware of your competitive thought life but never overtaken or immobilized by it. Yes, the mouth or your mind can be a beast, and its awesome side effects can stimulate your world – positive or negative. In order to cast your most positive vote be sure to check your own voter identification. You have to know who you are by getting into your “booth” – a place of stillness and deliberate focus to quiet your mind. Be responsible for your campaign that starts within your own “headquarters”. You are the only qualified candidate who can run as the president of your “united state”. Which shall it be? Will you be a product of your environment or create your environment to be a product of you. You decide. Decide how you will vote for you. Enlist the help of those most qualified. The election for your life is heated too, like never before. Vote often, vote early and make every vote count. Remember, either way…you win!
